Sistem Pakar Diagnosa Penyakit Gigi dan Mulut Dengan Metode Dempster Shafer

UPDT Puskesmas South Kuta is a health service facility intended for the community and first-level individual health with the address at Srikandi Street No. 40A, Nusa Dua, South Kuta, Kab. Badung, Bali. The results of interviews with informants who are also dental and oral experts explained that people rarely explore sources of dental and oral health information so that lack of knowledge about dental and oral health is the cause of low public awareness of dental and oral health. The high cost is one of the factors that causes people to be reluctant to consult or have their teeth and oral health checked by a dentist. Based on the problems described above, the solution that can be offered is to design an expert system for diagnosing dental and oral diseases using the Dempster Shafer. Researchers have the opportunity to conduct research with a system that can assist in diagnosing dental and oral diseases accurately, using an expert system application, which can be used by everyone and is not limited by space and time. With the existence of an expert system for diagnosing dental and oral diseases with the dempster shafer method, it can facilitate decision-making actions, and assist dental and oral experts as well as the general public in finding information related to dental and oral diseases.
